Why this name?
Straight just suits the music 'cause you can getlo in the biblical sense or getlo on the dance floor or getlo and commit a mistake etc etc
Do you play live?
Not currently ,I am in the studio putting together EP due for release FEB 08
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The playing field is level - almost - and hustle can get you places !
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the contract if it worked for me why not...

If you haven’t already heard, let me introduce you to…The Getlo!
AKA Document AKA Doc
Consisting originally of Tiff and Document, ‘The Getlo’ formed in 2002 after meeting through a mutual friend.
Tiff has since left to pursue other avenues and Document has continued solo with the moniker ‘The Getlo’. Working with well known local producer/artist Sabotage and conspiring for the yet to be released hits “Heaven Sent” feat. Sabotage and “Seduction” a chilled, dirty lady killer.
Document originally honed his skills at the grass roots level in country NSW, at house parties, raves, university dance parties – anywhere that would let him get down on the mic.
While former partner in rhyme MC Jughead moved to Brisbane the formerly ‘Mugg Alek Cartel’ was no more as Document also sort fresh pickings and moved to the big, bad that is The City of Sydney.
After meeting Tiff through a friend Document and Tiff formed The Getlo recording with DJ Rookie and DNA Songs finishing an excellent EP and with a semi-finals birth in the Urban Star Contest 2006.
The Getlo has remained as a one man show, showcasing the MC’s lyrically sophisticated and narrative verses,while deep growling tones and nimbly performed ‘in the groove’ rhymes are still a trademark.
THE GETLO…still working with the best and wants success and nothing less.
