I enjoy creating listening experiences that allow us to momentarily suspend the perception of the passage of time, and enter a welcoming environment that is both intimate and expansive.
Why this name?
It is the name I was given.
Do you play live?
Presently, I have not, but am seeking the opportunity.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has become an excellent way for artists to become part of a larger music community.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would prefer an independent label instead. I believe that they place more emphasis on an artist's development and instinct to experiment.
Your influences?
My influences go beyond what I listen to, and include what I see, smell, touch, dream, and experience. I believe that we, as artists, tap into a source that is outside conventional time and space, and return with the inspiration to create the music that we do, whether we were aware of the journey or not.
Favorite spot?
Any quiet outside place, so that I can really hear what the Earth is saying.
