Lets start at the beginning. I have been collecting records and djing since 16.

My first productions have been for emcee Hard Kaur and Casper.

I have been co-presenting 'The Main Ingredient' with dj Cro for two years.

Now I am producing mixtapes regularly with my own remixes on.

I have had beats released on Second Son's record label and collaborated with many members of 'Phantom Limb'(a Birmingham based Hip Hop collective) as well as sound track work for local films.

I am looking for vocalists , other Hip Hop composers and musicians who want to add depth yet bring back the funk!
Why this name?
I have been told I have piercing blue eyes and my first record I learned to juggle with was 'True Fu Schnick' which has the line 'true blue' in it. Used to spell my name the 'proper way' but the hip hoppers have corrupted me!
Do you play live?
I play live at Birminghams Biggest nightclub every weekend (sanctuary) as part of Panic! (Hiphop/Dribble and Bullshit room). I like the hiphop part :)

I have also played at Hedz where Ive supported Black Twang/Estelle/Skinnyman/Maseo (of De La Soul) etc.

I also used to play on radio and LOVED IT! I may be back on..... watch this space please!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
No one is really willing to pay for music anymore.

This is good from a consumer point of view, but bad for the artist. Artists and labels now have to make money from performances which is why it will cost you A LOT to see someone big, as EVERYONE will have downloaded your music.

It is a shame as anyone under 20 will probably not own any cd's yet have a hard drive FULL of downloaded music. They do not know the joy of actually owning a peice of the artist.

This is why I buy Vinyl! I also try and make sh*** available for download but I aint big enough to charge when you can get the biggest artists' music for nada.

I am trying to formulate a live show to get some breadcrumbs together and press some vinyl.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, if the contract was right and they had artists I wanted to work with. All the good indies are owned by a major anyway!

Favorite spot?
For music? New York about 7 years ago when all the indie labels started getting pissed off with the majors and making better music than them!........ and then got bought out by the majors and went WACK! F*** the money its about the art! If its good you will get paid in the end.
