So this isn't actually a "band." It's mainly me sitting in a recliner with a laptop and a guitar. A friend of mine who is actually in a band does the solo work, but other than that it's me on the guitars, bass, and programming the drum parts. But none of that sounds that cool, so let's try this again...

DARK HORIZON
Why this name?
It's the name of the first song I ever wrote. I was listening to one of Bulb's songs (if you haven't heard him on here, YOU NEED TO GO THERE RIGHT NOW. He's much better than me, lol) called "Event Horizon Escape." So I kind of lifted the "horizon" part. As for the dark, what self-respecting metal song goes without something like that in the title. :-P

Yes, my living room.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's a great new way for people to get themselves known. As time goes, I think more and more places like this will become important ways to get your name out in a "non-traditional" manner.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, that's never going to happen. If, for some reason, someone ever wanted to sign me, I would like to think I wouldn't get associated with any label that's a member of the RIAA.

Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, Meshuggah, Bulb/Periphery (now if only I could sound like any of them, lol)
