Dym Dog Records was organised in early 2006 but not yet signing artists till late 2006 after being organised a bit better. CEO and Owner Barret "Soljah Stylez" Maxie has been hitting up rap lines since early 1999 and has perfected his flow and writing skills since then. He believes as well as the rest of the DDR team that rap should be used to our advantidge to write about what needs to be heard and not the talk about drug dealin and the negative lifestyle and catchy looks it attracts. Ever since 06 DDR has grown and got better. Now has 14 acts signed and all about in the same writing and flowing range of Rap, RnB, HipHop, & Grime. DDR also has grown a interest in expanding the team from not only music but basketball, modelling, powwow dancing and hip hop dancing.
