Why this name?
My name was given to me six years ago. I was recording in my friend Steve-O's basement and my guy Lucky told me I was sheisty. A few seconds later he gave me the name Sheist T. The T stands for Terrance or Tony.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changes the industry tremendously!!! People aren't buyin cd's no more. Everybody just downloads the songs they want and burn them to cd.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course!!! It's hard to get your music to everybody. You need a major label to advertise, market, distribute and promote.
Band History:
I started producing 3 years ago. I wanted to start recording my own music, so I bought some cheap equipment and started recording. I don't have a music background though. I played the trumpet in 5th grade, but that didn't last long. I'm the only one in my family who does music (expect for a few people in my family who sing in the church). I've pretty much taught myself everything I know. I believe my dedication will carry me to the top. I've always been a leader and the best at what I do. There's a lot of talent out there, but I try to be different. I don't make the same type of songs over and over like some producers do. I have versatility. I grew up listening to all types of music. Sports used to be my passion, but now its music. I've never in my life spent as much time as I have with music. Music is my soul, music is my weapon!!! I can take everything in my life, whether good, bad, or ugly, and put it into a song. Thats why I love music and I will never stop. I don't care about the fame or money. I do this cause I love it!!!
