"What a long strange trip its been." - Are the words Michael uses to describe this wonderful and challenging musical journey thus far. His first Harmony electric guitar and matching tube amplifier changed his life and set a path that continues to musically evolve. A guitar player and musician since age 5 Michael has been recording and producing even before commercial recording hardware became a reality in personal home recording studios. The marriage of music and technology was his calling. As an electrical and network engineer; computers, MIDI, and the coming together of art and silicon forged a new expressive force that he continues to practice and refine.
Using state of the art MIDI sequencers and computer technology have been the core drive of this amalgamation of rock, blues and jazz fusion. A focus on guitar instrumentals gives this music its identity and the seemingly overuse of effects as well as second and third layers of guitars and harmonies is purposeful and intended.
"When digital technology, progressive blues, smooth jazz and rock collide; the resulting convergence is currently undefined but well received." Michael Slupczynski

Why this name?
The use of technology, especially sequencers was the underlying reason for the name.
Do you play live?
I live in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. It is nesseled in the northern part of Idaho and has everything one could ask for. I love it. I just wish people would quit moving here it is slowly stealing the beauty and gentle spirit from the land and community.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a technological and natural evolution. Soon, anyone at all will be able to create and distribute their musical capabilities. But perhaps not everything will be deemed "good" or worth our listening time. Ubiquitious musical expression via the technological connectivity of the internet is here, it is now.
