To those we are unknown to we are a recently established hip-hop trio known as sLiK-riVeM.
sLiK-riVeM concists of 2 mc's known as Dukebox (18), Oratrix (16) and a beat producer, sLiKz (16). We have been performing and recording for different periods of time although we have mixed levels of experience.
We met through school and became aquaintences of the same groups, we all feel the same passion towards music which we belive has brought us closer to each other and reaching our goals of making it somewhere in the music industry.
We feel strongly towards our beliefs that artists like 'Soulja Boy' ect.. are slowly killing the hip-hop industry. We show our support as part of the hip-hop is dead movement, and we would like to hear other peoples opinions on who and why hip-hop is taking a dead end road.
We hope to gain your support and encouragement towards our music and we would like to thank you for taking time out to read through our

Why this name?
During a weekly drinking / jam session we began to come up with ideas and names that best described us all. We wanted something short, catchy but different from the rest, and sLiK riVeM was chosen because we all thought it was a catchy and creative name.
Do you play live?
Yes the 2 mc's have performed live on different occasions before this group was formed. We look forward to our first performance as sLiK riVeM.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We believe it opens up alot of doors for talented artists looking for a break in the music industry, due to recognition on a world wide basis.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Definitely.
Band History:
All 3 members were formerly a part of 'N-Sayne Entertainment' but shared the same the same opinions on the lack of progress that was being made and we all believed it was a landslide waiting to happen.
Your influences?
2 Pac, Bliss n Eso, Hyjak n Torcha, Nas, Hilltop Hoods, Butterfingers.
Favorite spot?
Since we all have different ideas on favourite spots we all agree that anywhere we can have a jam session openly without distractions is the ultimate place.
Equipment used:
Fruity Loops and alot of soundfonts and plug-ins.
