Have you performed in front of an audience?
Anywhere and everywhere through out California. I truly love performing and am currently planning for a tour of the western states of California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, and Arizona. I'd have to say my favorite moment took place in Hermosa Beach at a club called the Lighthouse. I was staying in Manhattan Beach with some friends on a short visit to L.A, I believe it was for Labor Day Weekend or some other holiday weekend that enduces drunken debauchery amongst most 21-28 year olds. Anyway while throughly enjoying the festivities, we all decided to take a stroll along what's called the Strand (A walkway right along the beach that goes from Manhattan Beach to Hermosa Beach.) So for the journey I brought my guitar and started crooning singalong songs across the strand until we reached The Lighthouse. I remember there was this really cool reggae band playing... I think they're name was Gravy and I was just there dancin' around and adding my own little vocal parts to they're songs and they ended up inviting me up on stage with them. So I jumped up there and just started free flowing and improvising with the band and we just killed it! People were dancing and jumping around all over the place. Truly one of my favorite memories.
Your musical influences
John Butler Trio, My Morning Jacket, Taj Mahal, The Shins, The Beatles. I'm really into organic acoustic roots type rock as well as space orchestrating noise. I listen to all types of music from major artists to your back shed banjo player. I love it all!
What equipment do you use?
Gretsch G37000 Acoustic Martin D1XIE Acoustic Gretsch Hollowbody - Black Phoenix Crate & Custom Amps
Anything else?
Thanks for coming by and be sure to check the website for any tour updates.
