play lo-fi play hi-fi  Punish the Poor
Why this name?
Heaven and Hell, get it?
Do you play live?
All over Arizona, WE LOVE IT!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
...uh, hello? It IS the music industry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If everything was right, hell yes.

“Man, that was…unorthodox!”

“I dig those sayings he does between the songs.”

So, why this band? It’s a live show like no other. We don’t waste time onstage. We play metal. Good metal. It’s progressive. It’s diverse. It’s not what the rest of the metal bands are doing nowadays. Hellven is not a gimmick. Hellven is not cliché. We do it differently.

Hellven consists of Dave Terry, Dutch Rosenberg, Roadkill, and Clifford Shorb. They have been playing together for some time, releasing Realm of the Lost Souls [2001], and Born into Brutality [2004], with a new release slotted for January 2008. Look for it.

The band has appeared on 98KUPD’s “Local 98 Rock” and “Into the Pit” segments with Marcus Meng. They are also on regular rotation on the internet stations “Running Amuk in America,” and Monsoon Radio.

Hellven has had the privelege of playing countless venues around the Southwest, including Las Vegas, San Diego, and all over their home state of Arizona. We are growing. Watch for us.
