Do you play live?
Not currently, but I have in the past. You name it, I played it - army/navy/airforce bases, pubs, clubs, hotels, etc. One moment that comes to mind is when my band was playing at an atomic weapons research facility (don't ask!), and we blew the main fuse for the stage and lighting and blacked out the entire room - not exactly very comforting in terms of national security!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Easier distribution (especially for unsigned talent), but lowered standards for listening (MP3 vs. CD vs. vinyl).
I predict the next wave being online collaboration for composing (think Sonar, Pro Tools, Cubase, etc. with the tracks stored and archived online, and guests can log into a project and record/edit/delete a track or tracks to create a final mix; I know this already exists, but it's not mainstream yet).
