Why this name?
The name Three Faces was originally inspired by the book and film 'The Three Faces of Eve'. It's about a woman with a split-personality disorder. We thought it was an interesting name and it resonated with us. We all have full-time careers, but our real passion is music. We live out the life of our musical alter egos in evenings, weekends and spare moments at work.
Do you play live?
We don't play live, but it must be amazing to do so.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's given the artist more control. Through hard work you can get your songs heard by thousands of people, without being at the mercy of a music label executive. You've still got to have talent, but at least you're not dependent on the opinions of a few individuals.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. We write and produce music that moves us and it's wonderful if other people are moved by it too. Promoting the music through a major label would enables us to share our songs more broadly. It would be wonderful to have such a wide impact on the world.
Your influences?
We are inspired most by two things: great songwriting and great electronic production. The music we love most combines these two elements.
