Hi! Were Secundipara, a Band that is composed of Jetro Montebon on Vocals, Bernard Bacatan on Bass, Jm De Vera on guitar, Andrey Borlongan on guitar and Jerwin Coronel on Drums.
Why this name?
Our first band name is SIC (A familiar Slipknot song) but after a couple of gigs, Jet and Jerwin came out with a new bandname, Secundipara.
Do you play live?
Yes, we play live and we love it very much! Gig Skeds are in our friendster account. Please refer to : secundipara_band@yahoo.com
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yeah. you can browse everything and anything on the net.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah.. why not?
Your influences?
Actually, We had our musical differences, but there's one in particular.. We all love Jazz and Reggae Music. Just to name a few, there goes WDOUJI (Witch Doctors Of Underground Jazz Improvisation), P.O.T., The Dawn, Mudvayne, Ill Nino, Tool, etc.
Favorite spot?
Caloocan City! We do our jam sessions @ Jm's House and Our Inuman Sessions @ Bernard's Crib!
Equipment used:
As for guitar, Jm uses Yamaha SL400S as his main axe and Ibanez AS73 (Baritone Tuning) for some circumstances. As for guitar effects,
He uses a Zoom G7.1UT and A BCB6 pedalboard which is composed of a Boss PSM-5, Boss GE-7, Boss DS-1, Ibanez TS9DX, Boss CH-1 and Boss DD-3.
In Bass, Bernard uses his Ibanez Bass as his main axe and a Zoom 708II for his effects.
Jerwin's Equipment and Andrey's are to be followed. :-)
