Linda and I have been singing and playing gospel music for about 25 years. We write a lot of our material and Linda plays piano, I play piano, guitar and bass. We count it among the highest of honors that The Lord has allowed us to serve him through the gift of music.We hope that you are blessed by it.
Why this name?
We are just "David & Linda Byers" nothing more.
Do you play live?
We do the music at our church and on occasion sing at other churches. They are all special moments!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It provides an opportunity for lesser known artists to share their music with a bigger audience and that is a good thing!
Your influences?
Southern and Country Gospel music has always been our favorites. Enjoy Del Way, The Kingdom Heirs and a host of other groups.
Favorite spot?
The N.C/ Tenn. Mountains, Especially Cade's Cove
Equipment used:
We use Yamaha and Kawia digitial pianos, Martin, Alverez guitars and I do our recording with a Zoom digital recording studio.
Anything else...?
Our music is kind of an easy listening country gospel mixture. Most of our songs have a story behind them. Some were written especially for some individual, a friend or relative that had a special need or may have been going through a storm in their lives. Some were born from our own experiences. As gospel songs do, all have a message, we hope that you are blessed by that message!
