Soloist at the moment and have compiled an album's worth of bass songs (bass only) that range from metal to jazzy fusion and R+B. I'll be putting up songs a couple at a time and hope you have fun with them. All played on either my Washburn 1980 SB-40 or a Langcaster bass, through a Laney bass head. OK OK, obligatory yes all my material is copyrighted with all rights reserved.
Why this name?
Name searches are always difficult and Right Side Eyes just came to me when I needed a co-driver for a long trip.
Do you play live?
Play live--love it---tons of special moment tales from the Strip back in the day.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course, as long as it was not a rip.
Your influences?
Satriani, Ericksen, SRV, Hendrix, 10 Years After and tho I do not play their styles--Victor Wooten and Michael Manring. And lots more!
Equipment used:
Laney amps and bottoms, Dunlop Bass Wah, Blues Driver, DS-1, Bass Chorus, 1980-1984 Washburn basses, Langcaster bass and guitars
Anything else...?
As a soloist, I have to rely on making complete and melodic bass lines with lots of action. Hoping to find a guitarist able and creative enough to meld with it (hey, Satch--where are you..? :-). And you bet, sometimes I fall into a groove or two in my material for special room for future guitar solos cuz sometimes just a bottom groove can be awfully sweet too.
