Hi. I'm Nick. Born in 12/22/89. I'm not very talkative, but I can tell you a little about myself.
I am currently taking college. For security reasons, I will not say which college over the Internet.
In my free time, I enjoy reading fiction, especially the kind that you can learn from. I also like to write my own stories, and I am currently working on a few book projects as well as two short stories.
I don't like to say that I write music, because really they come to me. I'll just be doing my thing when a song just jumps into my head. Inspiration sparks it, then the songs write themselves, and then I do my best to share my song without butchering them too much.
Like I said, I'm not very talkative, but that doesn't mean I don't like people. On the contrary, I love company. I just don't know how to express myself, or how to dig into someone else without offending anyone. Slowly but surely, I am overcoming my shy nature. It helps to keep my goal in mind.
My goal, no matter what I do, is to look for ways to serve God.
I love to sing (duh). I sing for my church's youth band every second Sunday of each month and I occasionally sing extra weeks when they need me.
I also look over the Student Worhip technology team. They put lyrics up on the screen during the songs and have message slides in a PowerPoint file. Sometimes we do movie clips.

Why this name?
In my church's youth band, there are two people with the name Nick; I and a guitarist (and occasional singer). Well, I was getting tired of hearing my name called out when they were talking to the other Nick, so I decided to ask the band to call me by my middle name Adam.
Brittney, another vocalist in the church band, had a little trouble with the name change and kept calling me NickAdam by mistake. It didn't take her long to think of a nice little jingle for me based off of a certain store for sports and outdoors.
I judged the name Nikadamy original, and I couldn't think of any better names for my band, so I just decided to use it.

Do you play live?
Nope. Sorry. Maybe later.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe later. I don't trust record companies. They rip people off.
Your influences?
I listen to a lot of Contemporary Christian music. I like this kind of music because it means something. Christian songs have messages that are actually worth listening to. (Compare with "I wear my sunglasses at night." See what I mean?)
Anything else...?
I don't like to write music without a purpose. I refuse to write anything for my audience's entertainment. Do I want my audience to have fun? Yes. But I want to be more of a blessing to God's people than just a random guy who makes them feel good.
