About MOUFFUL
With so much to say Mouf, New Jersey native and independent hip-hop artist, has immersed himself into the hip-hop scene with his lyrical ability to stand alone with mic in hand. Known to many as a studio rat Mouf interprets life in general with his unique wordplay and lyrical perspective. Mouf exhibits his ability to touch and captivate a diverse audience proving himself a commodity in the entertainment industry.

Mouf received recognition in 2005 after releasing mixtape Jerz Meets South, where he incorporated his New Jersey esque flow to southern production, into the streets. The momentum continued as Mouf began performing alongside some of hip-hop's respected underground artists such as Grafh, Bathgate and Prinz. Mouf has also worked with various prominent and influential hip-hop DJs such as....DJ Bobby Trends, Killa Wit Da Beat, DJ J Butta, DJ Far and DJ Niam.

Mouf is currently placing the finishing touches on his highly anticipated album Put Ya $ Where Mouf Is and mixtapes Voice of the Street Vol. 1 and Featuring Me due out in 2009. Mouf is continuously developing himself as an artist performing as the opening act for artists such as Asylum Records artist Slim (formerly for Bad Boy Records 112) and other area acts.
Why this name?
I AM the Voice of the Streets.
Do you play live?
I do shows whenever possible. I've performed in Cali, Seattle, Idaho, New Jerz, NY, PA.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives us a bigger market to reach people.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
As long as they respected my style and did not try to make me into something they wanted.
