I've used the Finale systems for composition for several years now to compose generally romantic- or classically-influenced contemporary music. My favorite media include: symphonic orchestra, violin solo, violin & piano, and chamber music.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Due to the Internet, composers are rapidly able to share their artistic ideas and music. More importantly, both amateur and professional composers now have the chance to obtain helpful advice from people across the world.
Your influences?
I primarily compose in the Romantic or Neoclassical style of music. As such, my influences include: Beethoven, Sibelius, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Dvorak, Debussy, Glazunov, etc. Of modern composers, I enjoy John Williams (particularly Schindler's List) and Corigliano.
