The Dream is to become what your art represents. Not the Anger or the pain or the sadness, not the love or the happiness or even the freedom; but the whole of its parts. You live and learn and find some comfort at times and none at others, but you find what you need if you are looking. In others words and art and music, you find it, hopefully. If you close your eyes and listen you can hear the truth, if you open your eyes and plug your ears, or even just allow yourself to feel it. It doesn't matter if you are great, just that you are loved.
Why this name?
I haven't chosen a band name for this project, just my own.
Do you play live?
I've played live with various bands. Mostly bass guitar. I've been playing for a while, haven't played live lately. Do some jamming with the boys though from time to time.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it is a little overwhelming but everybody deserves the right to have their art published, good or no.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure. I don't think they would sign with me though, but I would love to give it a shot... Now back to the Art!
Band History:
I have played in Various bands. Cruel Injector was a metal band I sang and played bass guitar in. Shilo was a country rock band. Chaotic Roots I sang in. Those are the most recent. I just enjoy the sound of music, any kind. If you are to discriminate about other people's art they tend to be more so about yours. My musical tastes tend to go with my personality, which is a little schizo.
Your influences?
NIN, Primus, Les Claypool, Chilli Peppers, Steve Vai, Satriani, The Inspiral Carpets, Pavement, The Flaming Lips, Adriane Belew, Pink Floyd, Adam Jones... this projects influences anyways...
More importantly:
My Brother, My Father, My Cousin, My Friends.
"Shout out" to Den and Steve!
