We are a worship band from DFW, Tx. We love God and we love to worship him through all types of music. Everything we say and play is for His glory, and His glory only.
Why this name?
The youth ministries at the church we play at is called Compass Ministries, and True North just kinda fit and played off of that.
Do you play live?
We LOVE to play live. We play monday nights at FUMC of Bedford, Tx.. And every moment God shows up is a special moment for us.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet can be a very powerful tool for getting music and musicians heard. It is a great and easy way to get your music across the world. But it has been exploited and it can, and has been detrimental to the music industry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.
Your influences?
Anything and everything basically...from rock to reggae to blues to acoustic. Shane and Shane, Lifehouse, anything really.
