It came itself because in nepal people are still quiet/Dumb for there rights.

Ya. But now we are in a long break.We used to play in Damauli,Kathmandu,Pokhara etc.

Coz its faster and easier and cheap too.

Perhaps the first ever metal band from Damauli (west of Pokhara), Dumb Society started with the four guys who had been playing together since their school days. After joining the high schools, they became serious about music and started writing originals. They also used to play covers of Robin N Looza: and X-mantra in the college functions and around Damauli and Pokhara.
In 2062, they took part in ““Kulat Tyagau Sangit ma Lagau” in which most of the major bands from Gandaki zone had participated. Dumb Society bagged “The Best Band”, “Best Lead” and “Best Performance” awards.

Dumb Society played an all original set in their first gig in Kathmandu during Shiva Ratri Concert, Bhrikuti Mandap. Recently, the guys have also recorded two songs at Sacred Soundz Studio, Lazimpat. The band describes their music as - Heavy Metal with a little Nu-metal touch.

Damauli,Kathmandu. We used to inprovise/jam our songs in Film hall of Damauli.They just gave us completly free.
