Hi i am a solo artist in Australia. I love to write songs but lyrics don't come easy. Would love to collaborate. I spent 6 months in Nashville to immerse myself in songwriters paradise and I learned so much. Although I may find lyrics hard, this experience enabled me to pull lyrics to pieces and re write. I love and live by the expression I learned there "You write a good song - you RE-write a GREAT song"
Why this name?
Parts of my real name
Do you play live?
I live on the Gold Coast in Australia. It is one of the most beautiful areas of the world, albeit a little too touristy. Mountains behind, beach in front.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of Course
Band History:
I played as a solo musician playing in clubs mostly singing 60'2 & 70's & country for about 10 years. Then I got a residency playing to tourists for a couple of years at a theme park called Paradise Country. Then I got another residency playing in a German Restaurant called the Bavarian Haus. I learned a lot of German songs. I also sing in Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian, Malaysian, etc as we had many Asian customers, and I love playing to them. Christmas 2006 I finished and am currently doing other jobs and getting back into writing.
I also produce a collection of Instructional LineDance DVD's that I wrote all the instrumental backings for. Check out www.LineDance.com.au. This got me into writing instrumentals as that comes a bit easier. Mostly they are country but i have also written a few latin instumentals.

Your influences?
Early in life I was into the likes of Bread, Neil Diamond, Eagles etc. Fortunately when punk came along I switched to country in the days of Kenny and Dolly. I grew to love it and that is mostly what I listen to now. I love most of the modern country I get to hear but we don't' have very good country music stations here.
Favorite spot?
In Australia it is hard to go past the Gold Coast and Byron Bay. In the USA I loved Nashville, San Antonio, Seattle and many other places.
Equipment used:
I use MIDI backing tracks that i produce myself for my originals, and buy MIDI backings or make them for covers. I use Sonar Producer accompanied with NI Kontact 2 to try to get the most realistic sound I can.
Anything else...?
I am most interested in collaboration either someone to write lyrics to my instrumentals or to write music for someone else's lyrics.
