Hi! Welcome to my page.
First off, I am primarily a lyricist who occasionally composes his own melodies. That's why you'll see/hear some cowritten songs here.
Secondly; I can't sing, even if my life depended on it, so I've posted Studio Demos.
Third; I listed my songs as "country, general" but I hope you'll find a little more variety here than what you expected. My hope is that you'll find these songs Very accessible; Songs you can sing along with, Songs you'll know by Heart.

Why this name?
My Dad wanted me to be a footballplayer; that's why my initials are TD.
Do you play live?
I have been known (in loose moments) to sing acapella at open mike nights when I'm in Nashville, but I don't do it often. Like I said, I can't sing and I also get stagefright.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
As far as access to music goes, I think it's one of the best things to happen to the industry. As for the business aspect.... The Jury's still out.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Like I said, i'm not a singer. But I'd sign a publishing deal in a Heartbeat!

Equipment used:
A dual track tape recorder to overlay singing the words with humming the melody. Then I send it to a Demo Studio with instructions for the precise instrumentation and Style that I want. In short, I use my Imagination and talented Studio Musicians lol. My cowriters often record their own material, and you'll hear a lot of that on here, too.
