Band History:
Maverick or Joseph Burnett as written on his birth certificate, was born on March 21, 1983 in Mandeville , Manchester. He was then adopted by Theresa Burnett and grew up in Windsor, Siloah, St. Elizabeth. As a youngster, he attended the Windsor Basic School then unto Siloah Primary before going unto Munro College. Although always heavily influenced by the music at an early age, it was not until his lower sixth form year at Munro that that it was to come to the fore. He was allowed to host an SFA concert at Hampton and after seeing and feeling the response of being on stage, the urge to become a DJ could not be denied. It was just a matter of when. He started writing seriously that same year. In 2003, he started attending St. Andrews Presbyterian College. It was at St. Andrews that he decided he was now ready to take the musical journey. He began performing at the school's social events, restaurants and bars. In '04 however, he encountered a slight setback and was unable to finish his college tenure. Anyways, as the goes; when one door is closed, another one opens. All his energy was now concentrated on music. He returned home in '05 and linked up with 3d1 Productions and Young Veterans. He is a determined, focused and hardworking individual who understands that it takes more than just talent to be successful in this business. His philosophy; live and love life somewhat explains the type of person he is. Anyways, keep your eyes and ears open. You will see and hear more. Be on the lookout for his first video, Blazing featuring 3D1 and Camille. Give thanks.
