What's up? This is Daone, the kid J-Nigz. I've been at it for 7 yrs now. I'm a fulltime student, fulltime working, and doing this because it's in me.

Why this name?
It's really a progression from my original name when I started way back. It went from "The One" to "Da One" to "Daone" (pronounced 'dey-oane').
Do you play live?
I've had offers to play in the Heart Beat. If I had the time I'd consider it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Haha... holla.
Your influences?
I listen to every kinda music. Swear to god if I had the pipes I'd prolly be the next big thing in r&b. My biggest influences to this point aside from the obvious kings of hip-hop (Tupac, BIG) has been Royce da 5'9". Use the skill to keep it real.
Favorite spot?
Oh man. The harbor.
