SoundClick artist: Drab Makyo - Renderings of my compositions (and recordings, should any happen) for school and for pleasure.

These songs are mostly renderings (softsynth) of my compositions for school and for fun. As much of what I write is for choir, much of what's uploaded will have a different instrument for the voice parts (as most synth voices don't sound very good).

Why this name?

Makyo are illusions that distract from the path to enlightenment. How dull.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Art, like life, should be free, as both are experimental. Not all share this opinion.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Maybe, depending on the label.

Your influences?

Debussy, Ravel, Martin, Whitacre, Schoenberg, Lutoslawski, Adams, Gorecki, and so on. Most music's pretty awesome, but I can't write much more than classical now. As for non classical, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Explosions in the Sky, Eurhythmics, and so on..

Favorite spot?

After all these years, I still love Colorado. Korea was nice, admittedly..
