Why this name?
I guess the reason for the name is because we feel we represent that real hip hop in every way shape or form, bringing that same sound from the early 90's area when hip hop was just hip hop! plain and simple!
the other reason was because "little brother" was already taken. lol

Do you play live?
Yes we do play like, mostly in the ct, ny, nj tri state area... its the best experience we have to offer. a lot of cats are feeling us because we have "The Roots" appeal bringing a band to the stage instead of just a dj and emcee... not that something is wrong with that because that's the essence and when we can't use the band, its me and dj segue... two turntables and a mic, one phat emcee on the set!
the best so far was this spot in the village in nyc. the baggot inn. my crew felt the energy between ourselves, and then the crowd responded with that same vibe...one of our livest crowds yet! and seeing someone out there singing your lyrics is the illest feelings of all!!!!!!!

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
i think the fact that it made music more reachable and accessible to the world. someone like us who are unsigned, and yet i can hopefully have cats around the world listen to our music and like it??? man you got to love it...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
fa sho!its one of the goals we are aiming for! as long as we can come to a reasonable understanding, i think it anything is possible.
