I am a prior live musician and BMI writer who has now moved solely to becoming a songwriter and studio contributing musician. I'm a marginal singer who spends more time working with others on material and the production of music. I do not do this for a living, it's fun. If you're a singer looking for material in Rock or Country music, I could be your guy.
Why this name?
It's what they call me.
Do you play live?
I've been in an opening acts for Toby Keith, Traci Lawrence, Michael Peterson, Chad Brock, Yankee Grey, Tye Herndon and various touring artists over the years as a musician.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows all the lost independents to be heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Doubtful, but I'd be willing to write and collaborate with solid singers/players.
Band History:
Have played in numerous bands over the years.
Your influences?
D. Vincent Williams, Brent Mason, James Taylor, Sons of the Desert, Kim Mitchell, Southern Rock and ALL talented song writers in the industry.
Favorite spot?
Music Row (Best Western) to listen to those who really appreaciate the industry.
Equipment used:
Taylor, Fender B-Bender and Amps, numerous tricked out pedals and Sonar/Cakewalk for recording at home.
Anything else...?
I'm a regular guy with a large lovely family and very committed to my wife and kids.
