Well, actually "we" are not a band. I play and record in my living room. That's the way things are, for now... ENJOY!
Why this name?
A Pirogue is a little flat bottom boat that we use back home on the Bayou. In some places it's the only wa of getting around. A pirogue reminds me of home...
Do you play live?
No. I've played live a couple of times, and DJ'ed a couple more.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I don't think, or even really want to work for a music industry or any other industry as it is. I already work in a machine shop. That's enough as far as I'm concerned. If you want to download, feel free to do so. If not, that's your business.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If they crazy enough.

Originally from Lafayette, LA, USA, I moved to France in the summer of 2001.
I work full time and play/record music for fun.
