A Time To Stand.
Why this name?
Everyone comes across certain times in their lives when they literally need to make a stand for what they believe in. Every person out there is entitled to have their opinion and our name expresses that you need to step up for yourself when the time comes.
Do you play live?
A Time To Stand has been playing shows throughout Western New York since May of 2007. They will play anywhere they are able too, and love the thrill of playing out.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has been a double-bladed sword. On one hand, it increases awareness of lots of music and bands by offering digital music distribution, putting sound immediately at the finger tips and ears of people. On the other side, the whole legallity issue is of concern, and isn't always cut and dry/black and white, graying boundaries.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes
Band History:
Born in the cold, barren Music Mall in Buffalo, New York, A Time To Stand is looking to rain pure metal and mayhem across the world.

Chris (guitar) and Tony (drums) founded the band in mid-2006 with the drive and passion to try to change the world with nothing but a drum set and a guitar. With this realization, a quest began to find members of similar attitude to start what would become A Time To Stand. Enter Bryan, ex-bassist of Broken Frame. Wanting to explore a different aspect of his musical talents, he found an ad placed searching for a singer. With no professional experience or training in this field, he proved to be a natural. Needless to say, he was asked to provide full time vocals for the up till now nameless band.

Wanting a more distinguished sound, the band began its search for a second guitarist. A little time and patience paid off in the form of Tom (Dispatch). At the time he was without a band, Tom added to Bryan's experience. Adding his more technical and high energy sound to Chris' brutal and gritty rhythm guitar, the band was near completion.

Immediately with the addition of Tom, the band went searching for the missing piece of the puzzle; a man to lay down the low end on bass. After a period of time, and several auditions, Dan came into the picture. Another seasoned verteran, Dan proved to fit in with the band immediately.

Having just hammered out their first 4 song demo in Watchmen's Studio, A Time To Stand is ready to rampage your ears. Stay tuned for what is to come.
