Not a Band Just me and a few instruments and a computer based recording setup.. These days, I just play and record for my own amusement. The tunes I've posted here may have some imperfections in their execution here and there. I can live with that, hopefully you can too.
Why this name?
Just my given name
Do you play live?
I do not play live anymore due to my professional carreer taking too much of my time, but occasionally I play at open mic/jam type deals.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it allows the artist the possibility of having a successful career independent of Record companies, managers and lawyers that end up skimming the majority of the money any artist makes.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, Right!! If I was inclined to make a go of music, I would do it on my own using the net to distribute product and spread the word.
Your influences?
Everything from classical to very heavy metal has influenced me through the years. I'm really into the instrumental solo acoustic thing right now, but that is subject to change and knowing me it probably will.
Favorite spot?
Right now I have a thing for the Northeast US especially Vermont and New Hampshire. I visited the area a couple of years ago and the beauty of that land has stuck with me.
Equipment used:
Martin, Taylor, Tacoma and Larrivee Acoustic Guitars. Hamer Monaco, a strat and a Telecaster. Carr Rambler and Top Hat Club Royale amps with a selection of effects pedals. I've been recording with a Powermac G5 based system.
