Jens Hausmann: Acoustic Guitarist

Here you can listen to a few classical guitar pieces, that I recorded January 2011 as a warm-up and soundcheck to get in the right mood for recording my original material for my upcomming fingerstyle CD.

Why this name?
Well, my parents made that choice :-)
Do you play live?
For about 30 years I have been a working musician live, in the studio and giving guitar-lessons. Over the years I've had the chance to have my share in all kinds of music in almost any setting. Currently I am working solo and in duos on guitar, vocals, bass and mandolin. Besides playing and teaching I write reviews, interviews, stories and workshops for the German Magazine 'Akustik Gitarre'.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has given me the opportunity to be heard all over the world and also to hear what others do out there of course, I enjoy it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No way, josé!
