Hi... I have been slowly working on stuff, but i guess i haven't been too enamoured with anything enough to post it up here until now. I spent last Friday afternoon suddenly filled with a wee bit of inspiration for music and life in general... and the result was the new cue i have posted: Sunny February Afternoon. Hi. I'm Steve Ford and i make music. I am a multi-instrumentologist with a penchant for genre fcuknig. I am a musician / producer / songwriter / composer / wannabe sound designer.
I hope to keep getting better at all of these things, and aspire to one day earn actual money doing it. I have written and recorded music in many, many genres and had some of my work featured in short films, video game demos, and websites. So far my biggest exposure has come from my involvement in the Pure Pwnage internet TV show. I pwn tunes.

Why this name?
well, my parents kinda gave it to me.
Do you play live?
I play live all the time in my basement, living room, out in the backyard. After that it gets a bit more sporadic.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
As I've said in my other pages, it essentially renders the entire distribution system of the major music industry obsolete.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I am far too eclectic and diverse for any major label to want much to do with me. But yeah, sure. Distribution may be done for, but promotion is still important and the big guns do it well.
Band History:
I got born, walked, read, listened, learned, jammed, played, tried, twisted, tweaked, and tuned. rinse. repeat.
Your influences?
The whole of the damn world.
Favorite spot?
Wherever I be.

Instruments:electric & acoustic guitars, electric bass, mandolin, percussion, drums, vocals, computers, and whatever I find laying around. Everything makes a noise and is therefore an instrument.
Hardware: MOTU Traveller, an array of mostly crap microphones, a DBX channel strip, AKG headphones, Mackie HR824 monitor speakers.
Software:Cubase (main sequencer), Sonar, Native Instruments Komplete line (many synths and samplers), Waves effects plug-ins, Reason, many many other vst plug-ins.
...throw in a brain and a soul and away we go.
