Sweet betrayal
Hollow is a new band in the Sri lankan rock scene...it blends smooth alternative sound to heavy metal melodies and delivers something worth listening to..
Why this name?
as it is important that a band has a good band name...we stressed a lot to settle on one name..and we ended up at a point where we didnt care what the band name was..therefore we submitted to our feelings which were quite "hollow" and named the band that...
Band History:
The band came about a few months ago in August 2007...when 3 friends got together and decided to form a new band i.e. Izzy (Lead Guitarist), Akiller (Bassist) & Steven (Vocalist)...soon thereafter Khazim (a school friend of izzy) joined in as the rhythm guitaist...and dilshan was added a few weeks later as the drummer...it was not long before the band made sweet melodies as all the members of the band had a lot of experience playing in other bands..
