Hi,..... I am the band or rather the band is me,myself, I and Mrs Eight. She's a home recorder and drum box.....and mostly not broken...yet...When I joined this site I didn't have any originalsongs or tunes writ, wrote or recorded...so I went into overdrive and produced what is set before you.

Most of it is rough as dogs 'cos I was fulfilling an urge just to get some music on the page, so to speak. Now I would welcome any critique from any errant cyberwanderer who has mistakenly,or otherwise, stumbled into my vault. And it can be negative ,it can be positive heck I don't care if it's bloody rude ...provided it's honest and constructive. So go on, fill your boots....'cos you know I thought that this was a musicians site where we might get a little woodshedding done..... '-)

Why this name?
Jarvo..from Jarvis and Mets.......More enthusiastic than skilful.............no delusions of adequacy here.............
Do you play live?
On the rare times that I have I have really enjoyed it but suffer a lack of self confidence.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I don't know, I suppose that I have found more and more interesting music here than in HMV or Virgin Records......and as I said to good ol' Pinedog ( go on give his page a visit ) it's a bit like being a kid in a sweetshop and because you can try it on for earsize first you get exposed to music that you would never have tried out in a lifetime .So far I have only scratched the surface.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Course I would , I'm not that principled..........:-)...But I believe its going to be a whie till Old Nick skates to work.
Your influences?
Blues, White notes,Rock, Black notes.........
Johnny Cash,AC\DC...oooh shedloads and now some of the musicians I have heard on these pages. I will now listen to owt and try and play different styles and genres...one day something will click.
Equipment used:
Line 6 Variax 700,Spider 2, Squier Strat ukulele,mandolin,Zoom mrs 8,cheap 'n'nasty microphones and a Yamaha PRS-K1..n other stuff....
