Why this name?
I don't know, it just kinda popped up.
Do you play live?
I've had one live performance, it was for a Music Theory class. The song I played was "Hopeless" from my album "Coma". There was a relatively small audience (roughly 30 people), and the response was absolutely dreadful. Many people laughed at the ambient sounds in the intro, and a baby actually started crying at one point of the song. Regardless of all that, it was one of the most amazing experiences in my life.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows many professional (as well as amateur) artists to get their music out to the public. There are some very talented musicians out there, and without the internet, it would be virtually impossible to hear most of them.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends on the circumstances.
Your influences?
I don't really sound like any of my influences, but here are some of the big ones: Peter Gabriel, Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd, Brian Eno, Mike Oldfield, Yasunori Mitsuda, DJ DangerMouse, Bjork, Modest Mouse, and Radiohead.
