Hailin' from North Highlands, Ca. These two niggaz got their eyes on the prize and they finna put Sac back on the map forreal. They got their sh*** right and they comin' correct. Either RESPECT it or get DISRESPECTED Its your choice. Either way they finna hit the streets hard with tha long awaited debut album "UNDERESTIMATED."
Da Fam (Lozo and Young T) are actual family, cousins in fact, and they been doin music together for about 8 years. Young T was part of a Group called "M.A.G" (Money Affiliated Gangstas) while Lozo was part of a group called "Full Eclipse." The two were on their own paths, but that didnt stop them from collaboratin' on songs. Back in 2001 M.A.G broke up because of internal differences, and Full Eclipse drifted apart. That Left Young T and Lozo on the solo route. Stickin' to their roots, the two ended up back in the studio and been inseperable ever since. Equipped with a label, (Steady Knockin' Music),a vision and a dream, these brothas are definetly gonna make an impact on the music that is influencing our ghetto youth. With music you can see with your ears and hear your eyes. Its already apparent that the rap game as we know it, is about to change.

Why this name?
We are cousin's so we just called ourselves Da Fam which mean The Family.
Do you play live?
Yeah we play live at local clubs around Sacramento.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well all it takes is for one person to get ahold of your music and thats it. If its good it will be all over the net for free. Mp3 changed the music industry because now you can just download an album and dont have to go out and buy it. So the internet is killing the music industry financially but it also makes it easier for people to obtain music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the Right Deal comes around we might consider it...but as for now it all about Steady Knockin' Music.
