Literati X is one of the premier poet/songwriter/
publisher/label and featured recording artist of the 21st century. ' Sound of Literati ' thirty-four track
audio book exemplifies the versatile velocity of the full spoken word display. Witness the powerful experience of the spoken word explosion as {Literati Di Graffito X} spray the spoken spectacular just for you. . .
Why this name?
When my grand father used to sign his name inside the old southern bank in Alabama he scribed the insignia of the X because he could not read or write. And so to honor him I became a professional poet ,Literati and kept his {X}. . .,
Do you play live?
I'm not a stage performer. I'm exactly what I want to be--a digital media licensing empire. . .
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has turned the big music industry upside down. The big four labels are going to be around and have the things to offer lots of artist want. But the biggest label in the world is cyberspace simply because it has already spawned billionaire recording artist the world knows nothing about. . .?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Literati X already had thirty-four masters distributed by all five majors before they became four. Here's the thing; next time you touch my sh**t , you'd damn well have my X on your publishing deal. . .
Band History:
Literati X is a tragedy! The losses suffered can never be compensated: 122 trillion dollars in illegal sales. . .
Your influences?
X slaves telling stories because nobody new how to read. . .
Favorite spot?
The World Trade Center. I remember sitting on the steps every morning waiting for the Path train on my way to my first job in Jersey City. . .
Equipment used:
My pen, my paper, my computer and my microphone. And I out-source the other spectaculars. . .
