Born in jakarta, Indonesia on march 2nd,1980, piano player Astrid Sulaiman is "breaking the jazz crowd" in Jakarta.
Trained in classical- music disciplines, Astrid decided to try to play any kind of music where she finally found that jazz is the way to express her musical needs. Since then Astrid had performed in many jazz events with numerous jazz artists.
Nowadays this dentist-pianist can be found easily in major hotels in Jakarta as she regularly performs with her band as well as playing solo.Astrid also teaches piano and it wont be a surprise if you find her in your dental clinic.

Yes, at this moment I play at Ritz-carlton,jakarta and also in some jazz clubs
