I'm a one-person band; me and my iMac and my Axiom 25. I've been a member of a number of bands over the years, but now I'm old and I don't really like being around people anymore.

Why this name?
I thought 'SheGrooves' would be cool, but that was taken. So was SheBreaks and GrooveGirls and GrooveGrlz and SonicGrlz .. well, you get the picture. It's getting harder and harder to register a new domain name these days!
Do you play live?
There was that time my dad and my boyfriend and I played some bluegrass for a church picnic.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has opened up a whole new level of possibility in creative communication.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Like that's going to happen! Hah!
Your influences?
My musical training was classical, which I continue to enjoy. My influences have changed considerably over time, but currently I'm listening to more electronica than anything else. Well, except maybe opera.
Favorite spot?
Manhattan!
