Alton Paul has been singing professionally since 1992 when the release of his first album, “All You Need Is Faith”, gained worldwide attention, selling in countries such as Africa. His music career began to take off with substantial radio air play and television guest spots. That year brought continued success with the opportunity of working with Mom Winans of the famous Winans family of Detroit.

In 1996 Alton took a break from the music business to deal with family issues.

After a six year leave, Alton, in 2002 started work on a project titled “He Brings the Sunshine”, released in the spring of 2003. This successful Contemporary Christian album saw distribution as far as Sri Lanka. He followed that up with “Cold World”, released in the Fall of 2003. Late winter/early spring of 2004 brought “I Believe” for the Praise and Worship genre. “He Keeps My Dreams” followed in late summer/early fall of 2004; it being a mixture of Contemporary Christian along with some Praise and Worship.

In 2005 the collaboration of Alton Paul and Rhesa Siregar from Indonesia brought about the release of the “You Are the One” CD, co-written by Alton Paul and Rhesa Siregar. “You Are the One” is a nice mixture of Christian Smooth Jazz, Contemporary Christian, with a little Praise and Worship. This was followed up with a Christmas CD titled “Seasons Greetings” with the arrangements in the Smooth Jazz genre. Because Rhesa lives in Indonesia the projects have had their challenges, but all were over come which culminated in to what we hear today, “You Are the One” and “Seasons Greetings”. The “Seasons Greetings” CD is a mixture of vocals by Alton Paul and instrumentals by Rhesa Siregar and includes such favorites like; “Have Yourself A Merry Christmas”, “White Christmas”, “The Christmas Song”, “Joy To the World” and a couple of originals written by Norma Stephenson from Nashville, Tennessee.

Alton was born in Chicago, IL. Born to a family of fifteen, all musically inclined, Alton created his own style from the influences of his siblings. He gave his heart to the Lord at a family gathering on Thanksgiving day, 1976.

The most recent CD, "What's It Take" was released in May 2009. Already receiving rave reviews, this CD is now available for purchase. This CD will be a mixture of beautiful Christian songs written by various artists like Rhesa Siregar, Paul Gentry of Azimuth and LaVada Torzewski. Look for it on ITunes, Amazon and/or a Record Store near you this summer 2009.
