"I truly don't compare my style of flow to anyone, as to be honest I find it difficult to do so, as I'm such an individual in my own right, so I will leave that up to you to decide and let me know :). I like to tackle sensitive, emotional, inspiring, loving and fun issues from different angles and have pushed the bounderies out a little on some of my songs, enjoying the challenges different genre's pose to me. The other circle of topics that I will be covering will also be brought to you in my own unique style, offering you choice and variety. Being versatile I find that I am able to work with some very talented producers material that range from Soul to R&B, Hip Hop to Pop & even Rock. You'll find the underlying foundation of songs on "Restraint" is based on three things in life that we all have to face, "Method", "Change" & "Love". If I were to add a fourth word, it would be "Acceptance".

Why this name?

Voice of the Unseen was my original choice of name, although this will now be L.K in the future, which is basically my middle name Lincoln & my mothers maiden name Kennedy.

I believe we don't all have to be seen to be heard, we all have a voice and should air this without predjudice. I have come across many people that have been judged by the way they look, how they dress or even colour of their skin or individual lifestyles that they lead. Yet these same very people have voices that can air valuable insights into life as well as contribute positively to others - Hence, Voice of the Unseen.

Do you play live?

This is not something I'm doing at this point in time, as I continue to concentrate on completing my first album. Then I'll be concentrating on promoting both the album and myself. In the future though, this is an area I will be hoping to branch out in.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

All I can say is, it changes it in a good and unique way, it sets music free. Although that said, you are leaving yourself more open to more pitfalls (as there are plenty sharks in these waters), so I guess there are pro's and cons that go with it. At the end of the day, you can reach more people than the usual conventional methods. There's advantages and disadvantages in everything we do. As individuals, we just have to work out what feels right for us. Music and the Internet has it's fair share of Do's & Don'ts, it can be appreciated & respected on one hand, then on the other it can be abused and mistreated..

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

After thinking this over for some time, I'm still thinkin :). It would greatly help me in promoting, establishing and spreading my songs on a larger scale, than if I remained independant, but with that said though, it is not something I am chasing at present, as I'm fully committed on being a successful Independant Artist. I'd probably be more interested in management, someone to guide & help show me the ropes more. I feel I can remain more in control this way and do things at a pace I am comfortable with. I may not have the resources to hand, as if I was signed to a label, but I feel at this point in my life and where I'm at, then concentrating on being an Independant solo artist is the right choice for me.

Band History:

2009 is my debut year of putting my material together. Although I have been writing for some years now, this is the first year I've decided to take things to the next phase/level. As I grow I hope the fan base will start to grow with me, enabling me to take it to yet another level.

So, as the fan base grows, so will the band history.

Your influences?

Song stories with meaning. Easy yet powerful listening tunes. Something that brings about positive memories and feelings I guess but also tackles sensitive issues. I do not have a musical preference in Genre but what the song is about.

Favorite spot?

My Home, or out in the country or the depths of one's mind.
