we were once known as a Death metal/deathcore band named X mortis formed in august 2006 by St Xael who does vocals and wan who plays lead guitar however they had troblue recruiting members who were not skilled enough ...
only zuhairi was recruited to play rhythm guitars.. the band was also plagued by personal conflict between Wan n Xael who had different muscial tastes n interest after much arguement Wan left the band leaving only Xael and zuhairi and on the point of disbanding....however St Xael was determinded to pursue his passion for metal and after some searching was able to recruit caspar from enstrung to play bass and thareni from menevorium to play lead guitars n shatish to play drums from menevorium however this line-up was short-lived and at that time zuhairi and Xael recorded the song sentenced in cold blood but it was never released....
By that time St Xael shifted his lyrics style To a more darker theme and the band started to play black metal instead of death
...Almost a year passed and having not jammed for a long time since caspar thareni and shatish quit the band only leaving zuhairi and Xael again...
Alone Xael began learning guitar by himself being self-taught was able to compose and record a few songs and at that time Joseph a self taught drummer had a keen interest in the band after an audition he joined..Shortly after the band changed its Name to Aokigahara when the bands ideals moved to a more Misanthorpic and Depressive theme..with most of the bands lyrics having a depressive nature St Xael started mixing in a doom metal element into the bands Raw Primitive black metal sound inspired by Beherit paradise lost and some local bands such as bastardized, impiety and meza virs..Currently we are working on a Demo titled ..From the Grave
