Band History:
Nayan Lassiter is aka the Anayalator
when it comes to music production.
Known as Nay for short to many
of his friends and clients, he has
been working professionally in the
industry for more than 15 years.
Nay has produced, played on,
engineered and remixed hundreds
of records and worked with some
of the biggest chart topping acts
in the world. He has worked on
a vast array of Pop talent including,
Rock, Hip Hop, Dance, R&B, and
contemporary Jazz artists. Because Nay
is an experienced musician as well as
producer, he has a great understanding
of what makes a hit single and has
consistently delivered for many major
and indie record labels. He also has
produced music for television shows,
movie soundtracks/sound design and
commercials. Being an engineer, Nay is
well versed in Pro Tools, Logic, Reason,
Ableton, Akai MPC,as well as the top
mixing consoles (SSL, Neve and API).
He frequently works out of his own personal
recording studio, Bass Mint, but
has also worked at some of the top studios
including, Hit Factory, Sony, Right Track,
Sound Track, Power Station, Unique, and
Capitol, just to name a few. Bass Mint
Studio consists of the latest digital
equipment, vintage analog gear, classic
amps and microphones, Instruments
including, Fender/Gibson Bass and Guitars
and some of the best keyboards available.
