Ok guys, we are hardly working to get back with the band!
A completely renewed line up have been achived: new singer, new drummer, new bassist, we are now looking for a guitar player then the band will come back!

Andy, Sello, Lou and Chiara started the project of an alternative metal band with the goal to reach a new kind of alternative music!
The base was to get together a clean, sweet voice with raging guitars, powerfull drums and bass rythms but still remaining in a melodic yet exrtemely metal environment!
Dark Enchantment was the result of such an idea of "alternative"!

Why this name?
It describes perfectly the band style: dark, powerfull, raged yet sweet and melodic!
As the band base is the contrast between a sweet female voice and a Growling voice and Extremely metal rythmics we thought it would be a good name!

Do you play live?
We playied live, but the band had a shocking breack due to the drummer's injuries in a moto accident . Andy is now trying to form the band again!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Internet is the easiest, fastest way to reach people with ourn music!
I love the net as it is able to get in touch people from all over the world and share our music all together!

Why not?! It would be great to have a world wide diffusion of our music!

Equipment used:
Andy uses to record guitars and bass with a genesis 3 and a Morley Bad Horsie wah-wha pedal.
Then edit and mix the songs with Adobe Auditon using some plug.in.
In live events uses an Engl Ritchie Blackmore head with a Behringer 400watt speacker (jehnsen equipped), a T.C. Electronics G-Major multieffect (with a Beheringer midi pedal) and the same Morley Wah-wha pedal.
Andy has different guitars for different styles: A Vintage B.C. Rich Mocking Bird, a 7 string B.C. Rich Warlock and a B.C. Rich Bich D tuned (I love B.C. Rich) but the one I use the most is a guitar I projected and realized with Carmine De Jaco.
That's a hand made 7string guitar made on my needs and Carmine's great experience
