Hi - I am a former guitar/vocalist raised in the 60's in Liverpool, home of the fab four
I write and compose songs/music as a hobby
I like lots of different types of music
These days I spend a lot of time on my computer composing little melodies and developing them - something I enjoy a lot
I've always been colourblind and it was only last week, to my horror, that I found out my hair was grey!
Why this name?
from the film: Bladerunner
I love the film and was blown away by the brilliant soundtrack
Do you play live?
Not at the moment - I did perform live for many years in the UK and for the most part, loved it............I've found that 'playing by ear' is far too painful - so these days I use my fingers!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's a great way to bring talent - especially young talent into the public domain
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hypothetical - I don't consider myself accomplished enough to even think about this question
Band History:
I started off with my sister Jan in a guitar/vocal duo when I was 15 - playing in and around our home town, Liverpool (England). Our first 'public' performances were part of a folk group that played in our church (Jan was also in the excellent church choir). We progressed onto folk nights in pubs and clubs singing pop/folk songs. We were picked up by a local agent after winning a talent competition and played the club and cabaret circuit for a couple of years (including a summer season in Blackpool and a tour of Scotland). After a bad car accident, we split and both went solo. I played as a guitar/vocalist for a number of years, sometimes professionally but for the main part semi. Although I have always loved music, I have never really dedicated myself to the playing and creative side until recently. It is now the biggest part of my life and I enjoy it immensely. My aim now is to focus my varied musical history into producing music that is original and hopefully pleasurable to others.
Your influences?

Favorite spot?
my bedroom studio
Equipment used:
At present, I am using Reason software on a pc - My guitar set-up has been gathering dust since my 4-track recorder broke. I hope to do some guitar and vocals soon.
Anything else...?
Although regretting not paying more attention to my music teacher at school, I have him to thank for instilling in me a love for music. It's to my eternal shame that I'm a better listener than I am a player, but it is never too late to learn. Now past the dreaded '3-chord' barrier, I am on a voyage of discovery that exites me beyond my wildest dreams. It is an honour to share these dreams with you.
