amidst dusk, she wanders…
She would call out for me sometimes… right when I can’t find my way through the haze… right when I’m counting demons and imagine myself creeping down the cracks in the wall.
She would speak of fragility of dreams and I would often wonder if my dreams had always been THE exception.
I have violent dreams- one victory of Dream over this GREY world.
She is speaking to me now… beckoning cold waves.
I feel her fingers wrapped around me… I feel the bluntness in my chest

Why this name?
SunDown - Onset of Darkness. To see darkness beyond the mere absence of light. May also be perceived as a metaphor. The inspiration for the prose.
The literal interpretation though is that majority of the band members have dayjobs and at the end of the day (SunDown), we set aside time for our real passion, our muse - music.
(The muses of greek mythology were goddesses who ruled over the arts and sciences and inspired people who were best at them. )

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably not... there are so much opportunities in going indie
Band History:
Formed in December 2001, SunDownMuse (SDM) began brewing what could be considered a relatively new concoction for the discerning listener. The band extracted flavors from jazz, rock, and blues while keeping an open stance to output. Warm tones and fine timbres filled every song that sprung from the author’s mind. And with the creative collaborative output from each member, the band manifested a wall of colorful, vibrant sound…like a bracing tonic for one’s contentment.
In a year’s time, the band grew more intact producing new songs, playing numerous gigs, and meshing more firmly with each other’s musicality. SunDownMuse transformed its music into a statement of expressing different emotions, belief and judgment.
Apathy is the Cure, the band’s first indie effort will be released in the third quarter of 2003. Diversity allows complexity and variation... The music is fused with elements of jazz, funk, rock, and folk music. Influences include Sting, Paul Simon, Chris Cornell, Tori Amos, Carol King, Steely Dan, and Ani diFranco to name a few...
Music is an experience for people whether they recognize it or not. SunDownMuse is an experience you simply wouldn’t miss.
