Tom was raised near St. Paul Minnesota and moved to Alaska in 1974. He worked as a laborer on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline for three years. Now he runs a general store in Talkeetna within view of Mount McKinley, known by the locals as Denali. Tom also guides raft trips, and provides transportation for mountain climbers and tourists. He'd like to hear from you!

Band History:
This Is Alaska

An early example of North Country Music, this album contains a collection of Tom's original songs written in Alaska and based on his experiences there. Hints of Bluegrass, more like Folk, North Country Music is our label given to music performed in the more northern reaches of the USA. First published on cassette in the 90's, the album was digitally remastered and released on CD in 2004.
