Why this name?
It's on the birth certificate
Do you play live?
I play 6 shows a week in the Florida Keys and travel to other locations on request. Living and playing in a resort paradise is always a special moment.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
A lot more people get heard! In the good ol' days the only way I could get heard and improve was to subject myself to an angry crowd! If I had the Internet while I was working on my material back then I would have had allot less bruises. But, the bruises healed and I improved and now the Internet's here.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Well even though I get the joy of booking myself, producing myself, paying for reproduction costs (myself), promoting myself, designing my artwork myself and lugging gear myself it might be nice. Geee, I might have time to be a husband and a musician.... Only 80 hour weeks? SIGN ME UP!!!
Band History:
Played the role as front man for many cover and original bands over the years, mainly performing rock. Strange for a fella that grew up with (and still has a passion for) old country.
The love of country and folk mixed with the serious rock background is what created my folk-rock sound.

Your influences?
Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Johnny Cash, Led Zepplin, Jim Croce, Nazareth, Jim Reeves, Damn, I could go on forever!
Favorite spot?
The Blue Ridge Mountains, Smoky mountains, and of course the Keys!
Equipment used:
Well, lots of stuff so how about my favorite? My Guild D55 is the best guitar I've ever played. I beat the sh*** out of it every night and it always sounds great, holds up well, and is pretty as all getout!
Anything else...?
Go to itunes or Amazon and buy some music! Or look at the booking info and book a show!
The only reason I do the rest of this is because I love to play. I'll do the solo acoustic cover act in your pub, the solo original act in a coffee house or bring a whole band and have some fun with good ol' Rock and Roll from the album! Better yet, book one of each. Hell, book two their small!
