What's going on world, It's Da Boy Lib representing Wilmington, De. I'm an astriving producer trying to get in the industry. I don't do much talking, I let the listeners decide, so I hope you like what you hear.
Why this name?
My hood named me "Da Boy" because that's who I was. I was the boy on the block, the boy that was just at the park ballin', the boy with the new Jordans, etc. As we got older, as a joke they called me that and I ran with it. Da Boy Lib!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I believe it gives alot of people who otherwise would'nt get heard, the oppurtunity to showcase their talent.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes I would, that's what I'm praying for.
Your influences?
I believe i'm universal. I don't always know what i'm going to put in my beats, I play it by sound. I will admit, I love a bell & guitar beat, the two sounds coincide to produce a serious feel on a track.
